Department of Accident & Emergency

The Golden Hour is never missed because the severity of your condition is appropriately addressed using a five-level triage assessment. All victims with acute illnesses receive extensive medical and surgical care from the department around-the-clock. The department is open twenty-four hours a day and offers all patients who come in a complete emergency service. The department uses the Australasian Triage system (ATS) and treats all patients. It serves patients of all ages, including adults and children. For severely ill patients, the section offers resuscitation, stabilization, pain treatment, and transport. In the event of a major incident, the agency offers disaster care to the community. The program for physicians (Emergency Medicine) demonstrates that the EM is a dynamic clinical learning environment.
