In the safety of hepafiltered pressure control rooms with stringent asepsis control, patients receive day care chemotherapy. The chemotherapy medications are reconstituted in a special biological safety cabinet beneath a laminar hood. Additionally, the hospital has an intensive care unit (ICU) to treat patients experiencing side effects from chemotherapy.
